JH Gabb Solicitors, Chipping Campden, Cotswolds

Our goal in every case is to ensure our clients are fully informed of their options, so as to allow them to make a fully informed decision how to proceed. We take pride in providing practical and sensible advice to them. To achieve this, we offer clear, pragmatic guidance to clarify their positions and the options available. Taking swift action can yield real results, often leading to cases settling out of court – an accomplishment we are very proud of.

It is also essential that if you are in a dispute or have concerns of a dispute arising, you receive early advice, as this can lead to substantial cost savings and increase the chances of a quick resolution. This also enables us to explore the potential benefits of ‘alternative dispute resolution’ (ADR) as a substitute for formal court action. ADR is becoming a prominent fixture in Court rules and directions; therefore, ADR is always at the forefront of our minds to help our clients conclude their disputes as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. ADR may also be used alongside formal procedures to enhance the prospects of a satisfactory outcome.

Since legal costs incurred are not always recoverable with claims up to £100,000 now subject to new rules that recovery of a parties legal costs may be fixed, our approach to your case will help keep expenses to a minimum while increasing our client’s chances of success by ensuring they receive legal support at critical stages of the court process.

Our Litigation Solicitors charge for their work on a time spent basis based upon their hourly rate, which ranges from £125 plus VAT to £350 plus VAT depending on qualification and experience of our Solicitors. Estimates are provided prior to work being undertaken and are tailored to each client based upon the facts of your dispute. This is to ensure you are happy with the proposed fees our Solicitors may incur.
